Pros: smart, dedicated, goofy, nice guy
Cons: impossible to understand what he's trying to say because of the elevated english he uses, he talks in circles, lecture is boring, entire class crawls by unless you sleep
i hated this class and the subject matter. it was boring and i didn't understand anything he said. i pretty much doodled or slept. i still pulled a pretty good grade because of my good test taking and papers. however, the TA had to clear up everything in discussion. but at the same time the TA was kind of a jerk.

He is one of the top philosophers IN THE WORLD, so he knows what he's talking about, but his classes are extremely dry and boring. If you are truly interested in philosophy, then take this class. But if you're only taking this class because you have to, maybe take a more eccentric professor. It's a relatively easy class but again, very boring.
